Templar MTG are always on hand to help out store owners, communities, or even individuals to help get events kickstarted.

If you’re plannining a larger scale event and looking for assistance with recording/live streaming a top table, documenting the event on video, competitor interviews on the day, or even just a host for the event, please get in touch - we’d love to hear from you.

Our first premiere Magic The Gathering event, hosted in association with Athena Games.

The format of choice is Modern, the venue Athena Games in Norwich.

Doors will open at 10:30AM, with the event beginning at 11:00AM sharp. Competitive Rules will apply, and thus deck registration will be required for this event.

(You may submit your deck early by emailing it to templarmtg@gmail.com - please include full name and Athena Games order number for proof of entry.)

The event will have full live coverage provided by Templar MTG - if you’re unable to make the event, feel free to tune in at http://twitch.tv/TemplarMTG to follow along all the days action!

This event will also be an RCQ, providing the winner qualification to LEC Napoli.

Event Details:

• Format - Modern

• Player Cap - 64

• Structure - 6 Rounds (if 33+ Players, otherwise 5) into Top 8 cut.

£32.50 Early Bird / £37.50 (Early Bird tickets end on November 11th)

  There will also be a rebound event occuring from Round 4 (assuming 33+ attendees).

Rebound Event Details:

£12.50 Entry - Dominaria United/Brothers War Booster Box for winner.

Four Rounds, no top cut.

Booster prizing for top four and positive records.

Deck lists will not be required for the rebound event.

All prizing is based on 32 players attending. Prizing will be increased based on demand, with top four prizing guaranteed regardless of attendance. Our aim is to provide the maximum prizing possible, if demand greatly exceeds our 32 player number, the prizing will reflect this.

Both the main event and rebound event will be using MTG Companion for pairings and results. If you require a decklist template for the main event, please feel free to head to this link.

For those travelling here for the weekend, a ‘bumper’ Modern FNM will be occurring at Athena Games on Fri 25th at 7PM, and Chaos Draft will be available on the Sunday. Further information to follow.

We figured it’d be a travesty to go without initiating some good ol’ dress up fun during ‘Spooky Season’, especially when Athena Games’ Monday Night Commander falls directly ON Halloween!

As always, it’s completely free entry to come play Commander for the evening at Athena Games, and costumes are entirely optional. With that said, we HIGHLY encourage getting your cosplay creativity in gear, and dressing up as your favourite MTG character, card, tribe, etc, the list is endless.

There’ll be some prizes for our favourite costumes, including a community voted winner - make sure you put it in your calendar, it’s gonna be a blast!

We’ll be doing a pizza order for the evening, so if you’d like to get involved please come to Stephen on the day.
